Lewes Chamber of Commerce

     Lewes, Delaware, is an historical and environmental treasure. The community, which dates back to 1631, is located at the mouth of the Delaware Bay. It is surrounded by an extraordinary seashore national park, a national wildlife refuge, and countless other environmental wonders.
     Our challenge was to develop a visual identity and marketing materials to increase tourism.
     The logo we created captures Lewes's charm by portraying its history, beach, environmental and maritime heritage through combined imagery. Other materials, including a captivating 5-minute tourist video promoting off-season tourism, incorporate a similar feeling.
     In all of our Lewes work, we employ a rustic style to portray the authentic Lewes experience that the fifty-plus tourist market is seeking.These materials are used to promote group and individual tourism, and to appeal to travel-oriented writers and media.
     Tourism continues to grow, and the town is thriving, even in the off-season.
     A special challenge here is the need to understand and satisfy the concerns and interests of the large number of local business owners who regularly participate in Lewes Chamber events.
