Delaware Solid Wast Authority

     DSWA's mission is "To design, develop and implement cost-effective plans and programs for solid waste management which best serve Delaware and protect our public health and environment."
     Dean Design's challenge is to design DSWA Annual Reports to inform related agencies, interested individuals, and bondholders that DSWA is fulfilling its mission successfully. The DSWA Annual Reports communicate through message, look and feel, the high standards and well run nature of the organization.
     The strong images used throughout each piece show the reader DSWA's dynamic leadership in this critical area.
     A separate campaign, an engaging children's membership program, the "Clean-up Kids," employs cartoon characters, fun and rewards to educate children about recycling. Parents learn the basics of recycling through their children's participation, too. Over ten thousand grade school children in Delaware have opted to become members of the Clean-up Club. Our DSWA work wins national awards annually.
