Jake & Amos

     Jake & Amos is a much-loved brand of pickled vegetables in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It had gained its popularity because of its high quality, low price point, and catchy name, and in spite of its weak label.
     Jake & Amos's major distributor recognized that the brand would have much wider appeal with a more attractive label and point-of-sale materials.
     We redesigned the label, bringing personality and color to Jake and Amos. We prepared point-of-sale materials for a merchandising kit which included a wooden shelving unit, banner, poster, and shelf talkers.
     The kit was extraordinarily well received, doubling sales projections within half a year. Jake and Amos have discovered new life well beyond the Lancaster County borders.
